Trips and Annual Events

We try to do as many school outings as possible. Each year we have walks and celebrations; we also visit local sites of natural and historical interest, as well places further afield. For example over the last few years classes have visited Oceanarium in Bournemouth, the National Portrait Gallery, Four Acre Farm in Ringwood, the Globe Theatre, Seacity Museum in Southampton, the Roman Baths in Bath and many other places! All these trips are open to the whole school and parents are especially welcome to join us.

We have three seasonal celebrations at the end of each term; the Winter Christmas Concert, the Spring Egg Roll and the Summer Sports Day and Picnic.

At the end of many academic years we have put on a major school production of either a classic play or a play written by the Proprietor, Nicholas. As Nicholas passed away in 2025, future plays with be produced in collaboration with Forest Forge theatre who provide our drama teaching.

Other events have included entering Jane Goodall's 'Roots and Shoots' competition and the 6-a-side Small Schools Football Tournament.
